Give Away Competition – Terms & Conditions

(February Half Term: 16–20 February 2026)

1. Eligibility

  • This giveaway is open to anyone aged 18 or over.

  • A valid Facebook account is required to enter.

  • Active Camps staff, contractors, and anyone directly involved in running the giveaway are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter

To be entered into the giveaway, participants must complete all required steps on Facebook:

  • Like the official Active Camps Facebook page

  • Like the giveaway post

  • Tag a friend

  • Make sure your Facebook settings allow us to see your likes and entry

Only entries that complete all required steps will be counted.
By entering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Prize Details

  • The winner will receive one free place at one of our Active Camps or Active Club venues, only during February Half Term (16–20 February). Camps or club weeks may vary in length, with some locations operating for 3–4 days only.
  • The prize is valid for the dates listed above across all Active Camps or Club venues
  • The prize is for one named child only and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash

4. Winner Selection

  • One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

  • The winner will be randomly selected on 19 January.

  • The winner will be contacted via Facebook comment or Facebook Messenger.

5. Winner Notification & Claiming the Prize

  • The winner must respond within 48 of being contacted.

  • If no response is received within this time, Active Camps reserves the right to select another winner.

6. Fair Use & Entry Rules

  • Incomplete entries, duplicate entries, fake accounts, or suspected fraudulent activity will be disqualified.

  • Active Camps reserves the right to verify eligibility before awarding the prize.

  • All decisions made by Active Camps are final.

7. Facebook Disclaimer

  • This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.

  • By entering, participants release Facebook from any responsibility or liability related to this giveaway.

8. Liability

  • Active Camps is not responsible for technical issues, Facebook outages, or entries that cannot be verified due to privacy settings.

  • Children attending camp must follow all Active Camps rules, policies, and safety guidelines.

9. Data Protection

  • Any personal information provided will be used only to administer the giveaway and arrange the prize.

  • Data will not be shared with third parties and will be handled in line with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes or Cancellation

  • Active Camps reserves the right to amend, extend, or cancel the giveaway if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

11. Acceptance

  • By entering this giveaway, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
