About this Venue
Our Ofsted registered activity camps in Summertown are hosted at Summer Fields School.
Summer Fields School is one of our most prestigious sites. Set amongst a stunning 70 acres of outdoor space, Summer Fields is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that make it the perfect place for our Active Camps. There are two swimming pools: one indoor heated swimming pool and one outdoor pool. There is an outstanding woodland area, which the school calls ‘The Plantation’. This has benches and huts, ready for outdoor exploration.
There is also an impressive sports hall, football pitches, tennis courts and an adventure playground equipped with a zip line. The modern Salata Pavilion, completed in 2015, with beautiful wooden flooring and floor-to-ceiling glass windows provides a large indoor space and views of the picturesque site. There is also a grand dining hall for lunches. This is a one-of-a-kind site and the perfect place for children to explore, play and make unforgettable memories!
We also run Active Adventure and Active Engineers at this location.
Activities
Our Active Camps (for children ages 4-14) are all about getting stuck in with a broad range of both indoor and outdoor activities. Sessions span arts and crafts, dance, sports and even coming up with business ideas! No two days are the same, and every camp leader creates a unique program of events. In the special indoor Salata Pavilion and art rooms, children do arts activities, which might include activities such as painting and doing fashion shows. We encourage students to unleash their inner artist and express themselves!
Sports activities might include activities such as tournaments, relay races and tennis-based games. This is great for learning the joys of exercise and getting outdoors! The fantastic indoor and outdoor swimming pools at Summer Fields School provide the opportunity for children to swim and play games in the pool. There are always two activity sessions to choose from, so children can follow their individual interests. Our exciting WOW activities even sometimes make an appearance here. These might include archery tag, inflatables, Quad Biking or Go-Karts! During our laughter-filled days, our experienced staff provide exceptional care and ensure that every camper feels welcomed!
Swimming
Due to limited pool timings, we are unable to guarantee that every child will swim every day. If your child would like to take part in swimming when it is available, please make sure they bring their swim kit each day. We cannot guarantee access to the pool during every holiday, due to the unpredictable nature of pool maintenance.

£54 per day or £255 per week (Mon-Fri) – No extra fees to pay.

Oxford Active is excellent at Summerfields school. My children find the days are full of fun and pass quickly. Plenty of fresh air and outdoor exercise. They are put in bubbles with their friends and the staff so welcoming!
