About this Venue

Our Ofsted registered activity camps in Calne are run at St Margaret’s Prep | An Independent Day School in Calne | Home.

The lovely St Margaret’s School location spans a sweeping 50 acres. It boasts an array of facilities, including pitches for rugby, football, hockey and cricket. There are also netball and tennis courts, large sports hall and inside there is even a climbing wall and an indoor swimming pool. This vast range of resources allows the camp to offer a diverse program of exciting events! The main school building also contains a large number of classrooms, so we can provide both indoor and outdoor activities. It is a wonderful backdrop for our lively active camps, as it inspires a sense of exploration and adventure!

Activities

Our St Margaret’s Active Camp (for children in Years 1 -7) is all about engaging in a wide range of activities. Students participate in both sports and arts activities. For example, they might do crafts sessions such as collages and fashion shows. They might also have relay races and play football-based games! At the St Margaret’s site, the fantastic swimming pool enables children to play swimming games and the enchanting outdoor areas allows for activities such as bug hunts and crafts using natural materials.

Our passionate and energetic team of camp leaders create a new program of events for every camp, so that activities are always fresh. Every child always has the option of two different activity sessions, so that the experience is individualised. It is a fantastic chance to socialise and grow, in a nurturing and inclusive environment!
