Cheerleading
Cheerleading is a vibrant, fun, high energy sport as much as it is dance that is exploding in popularity. Cheerleading is all about commitment and is very much a team effort.
You’ll learn jumps, tumbles, lifts, chants, kicks and awesome new choreography with the use of pom poms. The classes are open to children from five years old, where you’ll be learning together with your friends and creating new routines to great music. It is a fantastic way to meet new people and to keep fit at the same time. Each week you will learn something new and eventually we shall work towards building a squad. Where we will compete and even support a local sporting team.

Street Dance
 Street dance takes any form of popular music – from pop to hip hop – and choreographs routines to the beats. Street dance has a fun, funky vibe, which as the name suggests started on the streets. It is a fun way to keep fit with friends and to learn new choreography to recent music. Every week we shall learn new moves and techniques, where routines will be made. Ballet
Ballet is a great way to start dance many dancers feel ballet offers all the fundamental skills of any dance genre. It teaches and improves response to music, co-ordination skills, self-discipline, poise and strength.

Ballet is known for its elegance and grace so therefore it offers the opportunity to dance along to classical music whilst telling a story through movement.

Tap
Tap is one of the most enjoyable and rhythmic forms of dance providing great exercise and great fun! It is a great choice for promoting co-ordination, a sense of rhythm and for strengthening and loosening foot, ankle and leg muscles.
Tap is a very satisfying choice for all age groups if it be for fun or to improve fitness or co-ordination. For younger pupils great delight is found from being able to dance and make noise at the same time. With more advanced pupils being able to achieve and perform technically complex steps and rhythms is extremely satisfying. All pupils will have the option to undertake exams with the ISTD. Modern Dance
Modern dance incorporates ballet and jazz steps including kicks, turns and leaps. It is more relaxed than ballet and a free style of dance in which dancers can use their own moods and emotions to design their own steps. Warm-up and stretch exercises help our dancers with flexibility and they learn to control movements as their strength builds. Each week fun routines can be made to different styles of music whilst also working on techniques.
