Wolvercote School

Oxford Active took over the management of the after school club at Wolvercote Primary School in 2004. It runs during the school term between the hours of 3.10pm and 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We provide a safe place for children aged 5-11 to rest and play after school, offering various activities such as arts and crafts, board games and toys, sports and fun games, quiet games, computer games, reading, TV and general chilling out time. Emphasis is placed on allowing the children to choose what they want to do and assist with the planning of activities. At 3:45pm a healthy snack is provided of sandwiches, fruit and a drink.

OFSTED Registration No:  EY282619.  Wolvercote after school club is on the Compulsory and Voluntary Childcare Registers and can accept children aged 5 (from 31st August after their 5th birthday) to 11 years old.

Fees
£8.00 is charged per child for a full session and £6.00 for a half session until 4.30pm – for advance regular bookings.  £9.00 and £6.75 are charged for late or one-off bookings.

Mini Active Fun Club

In January 2012 we will be opening a Fun Club for children aged 4-5 years old in the Early Years age range (until 31st August following their 5th birthday).  The club will run for just 2 hours a day from 3.15 – 5.15pm and will be located near the main after school club.

The fees will be £8.00 per session.

Terms and Conditions

To book a new place, please call  Luke Jones  at Oxford Active on 01865 594324 to check availability

  • If a place is available, a registration form must be completed before your child can attend the club.   These are available from the club or Head Office and need to be returned to Luke Jones at Oxford Active Head Office.
  • Although you may register your child online,  you cannot currently book and pay for after school club places online
  • To guarantee a place at the club, you will need to book for a certain number of fixed days each week for a whole term
  • Once a regular booking is made, it will be carried forward to the next term unless otherwise instructed in writing the term before you wish to make any changes
  • Pre-booked places cannot be refunded if they are not used
  • If the club is forced to close because of circumstances beyond our control, (eg school closure due to floods or snow) we will not be able to refund fees
  • For occasional use of the club and extra days on top of your regular booking, you must call Head Office to book and make payment in advance  (01865 584324).  Late bookings can be taken until 1.00pm on the day you need a place but are charged at a higher rate than advance bookings.
  • Payments can be made by cheque, debit/credit cards, direct debit, childcare vouchers.  For more information, contact Luke Jones.
