St. Ebbes School After School Club

Oxford Active took over the management of the after school club at St Ebbes Primary School in 2004. It runs during the school term between the hours of 3.00pm and 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We provide a safe place for children aged 5-11 to rest and play after school, offering various activities such as arts and crafts, board games and toys, sports and fun games, quiet games, reading, TV and general chilling out time. Emphasis is placed on allowing the children to choose what they want to do and assist with the planning of activities. When children finish school and come along to the club, a healthy snack is provided of sandwiches, fruit and a drink.

The after school club is exclusively for children who attend St Ebbes Primary School. A waiting list is in operation because the demand for places exceeds the capacity of the 28 children that we can accommodate in the space available to us.

OFSTED Registration Number: EY282622. Ebbeneezers after school club is on the Compulsory and Voluntary Childcare Registers.  We are not currently registered to take children in the Early Years age range (until 31st August after their 5th birthday).

Opening Times

3.00 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday school term time only

Fees
£8.00 is charged per child for a full session £6.00 is charged per child for a half session until 4.30pm – for regular advance bookings.  Late and one-off bookings are charged at £9.00 and £6.75.

Play Leader: Tatiana Grabovschi, a qualified teacher and experienced play worker

Play Assistants:

Steve – an experienced sports coach currently studying Coaching at Brookes University
Vicky – a specialist in children’s yoga and relaxation therapy
Rachel – NVQ Level 2 qualified in playwork
Alan – NVQ Level 2 in childcare

The overall management and administration of the club is the responsibility of managers Anne Bissell and Luke Jones (bookings and invoicing) who are based at Head Office in Woodstock.

Terms and Conditions

  • To book a new place, please call  Luke Jones  at Oxford Active on 01865 594324 to check availability
  • If a place is available, a registration form must be completed before your child can attend the club.   These are available from the club or Head Office and need to be returned to Luke Jones at Oxford Active Head Office.
  • Although you may register your child online,  you cannot currently book and pay for after school club places online
  • To guarantee a place at the club, you will need to book for a certain number of fixed days each week for a whole term
  • Once a regular booking is made, it will be carried forward to the next term unless otherwise instructed in writing the term before you wish to make any changes
  • Pre-booked places cannot be refunded if they are not used
  • If the club is forced to close because of circumstances beyond our control, (eg school closure due to floods or snow) we will not be able to refund fees
  • For occasional use of the club and extra days on top of your regular booking, you must call Head Office to book and make payment in advance  (01865 584324).  Late bookings can be taken until 1.00pm on the day you need a place but are charged at a higher rate than advance bookings.
