Emergency First Aid at Work

Oxford Active is able to offer the new HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work course. This course is ideal for smaller or lower risk businesses.

We would suggest that your chosen emergency first aiders or anyone wanting a complete one day first aid overview attends this course.

During the course candidate will cover basic lifesaving first aid and health and safety regulations for the workplace.

The content of the course will be:

  • Health and safety (first aid) regulations
  • Managing an incident at work
  • The priorities of first aid
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty
  • Resuscitation
  • Dealing with Shock
  • Choking
  • Seizures
  • Bleeding
  • Common workplace injuries.

We run this course over one day (6hrs) and it includes both theory and practical sessions. The Emergency First Aid at Work course is intended to boost the candidate confidence when faced with emergency situations in the workplace.
