MINIBUS DRIVER

Minibus driver needed for staff cover during the Easter school holidays at our Cherwell Holiday Camp in North Oxford. They may also be required for up to two weeks during the summer holidays.      Duties will include an early morning collection of children at 8.30am and afternoon drop off at 5.30pm.  During the day the bus driver will need to take groups of children on off site trips to the ice rink, cinema, ten pin bowling, etc.  The driver is also expected to help the camp staff supervise children on the off site trips.

Experience of working with primary school aged children is desirable, and the ability to interact with and supervise young children essential.   Must have a driving licence valid to drive a 15 seater minibus.

OXFORD CHERWELL HOLIDAY CAMP MANAGER/AFTER SCHOOL CLUB MANAGER

We need an experienced and enthusiastic manager for our busy holiday camp based at Cherwell School in North Oxford who can also help set up and manage an after school club in the Oxford Area.

Candidates must have a Level 3 NVQ in Playwork or the equivalent and have plenty of experience of organising children’s activities and managing staff.    Due to the location of the Oxford Active office and new after school club, the candidate will need to have their own transport.

The hours of this post will be 25 hours a week during term time and up to 50 hours a week during school holidays.

Full Time Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes for those who want to develop their future career prospects. Apprentices learn through a combination of on and off the job training. On the job they work alongside experienced staff, whilst off the job they attend training to work towards nationally recognised qualifications. The programme is aimed at young people who are aged between 16 -19 and 20+ who are interested in developing a career in working with children and young people sports development within a variety of settings.
